Our Farm. Our Family. Our Philosophy

About Us

From Seed To You began with a simple belief: the way we care for the land
and the way we care for people should not be separate conversations.

Our Story

We are Airin Rhinehart and Eric Johnson, partners in life, business, farming, and a shared vision of creating something that improves the health of our family, our community, and the land we leave behind. Our home and farm in Kansas has become a living laboratory for that vision, a place where gardens, herbs, animals, food, fermentation, traditional skills, and modern healthcare all intersect.

Airin brings more than two decades of nursing and military healthcare experience to From Seed To You. Her journey from combat medic and critical-care nurse to advanced practice nursing deepened a belief she had carried for years: healthcare is essential, but true health is also shaped every day by what happens outside the clinic. It happens in our kitchens.

  • In our gardens.
  • In the way we move.
  • In the quality of our sleep.
  • In our relationships.
  • In the health of our soil.
  • And in the foods and traditions we pass from one generation to the next.

Eric brings a lifelong connection to working with the land, building, creating, and finding practical ways to turn ideas into something tangible.
Together, we began transforming our acreage into a diverse working farm where vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, fruit, chickens, pigs, goats, gardens, water, and wildlife can coexist within a more regenerative system.

Along the way, our kitchen became an extension of the farm.

We began baking naturally fermented sourdough, preserving the harvest, culturing foods, creating herbal preparations, developing elderberry syrups, testing nutrient-dense recipes, and continually asking one question: How can we make this healthier without losing the joy, flavor, tradition, and connection that make food meaningful? That question eventually grew into something much larger.

The Farmacist Philosophy

We created FARMACIST.FARM around the idea that the farm and the pharmacy do not have to exist at opposite ends of the health spectrum. We respect modern medicine. We value science. We also believe deeply in nutrition, movement, restorative sleep, stress management, meaningful relationships, traditional food preparation, responsible herbalism, time outdoors, and the healing value of reconnecting people with where their food comes from. Our goal is not to replace medicine with food or herbs. Our goal is to broaden the conversation about health.

We want people to understand that the choices made every day often long before illness occurs matter.

That is the heart of From Seed To You.

We are growing food in a way that nourishes people while restoring the soil. We are rediscovering traditional practices through the lens of modern knowledge. And we are building a place where families can learn that caring for their health does not always begin with something complicated. Sometimes it begins with a seed.

Our Farm Mission

Healthy Soil. Nourishing Food. A Living Ecosystem.

Everything begins with the land. We're developing our farm as a diverse, regenerative ecosystem where food, animals, herbs, fruit, flowers, water, wildlife, and people work together rather than exist separately. We grow seasonal vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, berries,
orchard fruits, and other specialty crops while raising animals and continually working to improve our soil's health and resilience.

For us, regenerative agriculture is about more than producing food. It means asking how we can leave the land better than we found it. We focus on practices that encourage biodiversity, build organic matter, support beneficial organisms, conserve resources, and create healthier growing
systems over time.

When we grow healthier soil, we can grow healthier food. And healthier food can help build healthier communities.

From our soil to your table, every harvest has a story.
